I created The Walking Dead as a student project in 2021 for SAE Institute Zürich. The focus was on artificial intelligence. Enemies should use finite state machines to change their actions like patrolling or chasing. The project should also include triggers and interactions for opening doors.

 

The goal is to reach the end of the level without getting caught by the undead. If you reach a green safezone, the undead will freeze their movement. The game contains two levels.

 

Controls:

Move: W, S

Run: Hold Shift and W

Look left / right: A, D or Mouse

Interact: E

Jump: Space

Attack: Left Click
